This Historical Monument, dated 1888, classified by Unesco as Cultural and Architectural Heritage of Humanity and by IGESPAR as a Building of Public Interest, was returned to the city, constituing an example of regeneration and architectural preservation. The 1st place of the National Creative Industries Prize in 2009, the Declaration of Cultural Interest by the Ministry of Culture and, above all, public praise comes as recognition of its value.
Inside, the Hard Club has installed: Room 1 for large events (1000 people standing) and Room 2 (for 350 people standing), where it receives, at a daily pace, concerts, corporate events, theater, cinema, fairs, performative, educational and tourist activities; the Main Floor, a free welcome space that encourages the presentation of free exhibitions and activities on its acoustic stage; and the Restaurant, on the top floor, which is based on the Portuguese tradition of breweries, surrounded by a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
In the first 3 years of activity in the Ferreira Borges Market, the Hard Club received: 1300 events, 3000 artists (of which 2400 national and 600 international), 40 nationalities, 500 concerts, 350 electronic music nights, 200 cinema sessions, 400 events free entrance, 120 fairs and exhibitions, 150 theater / dance events, 50 educational events and corporate activities of large national companies.
